I don't think I've directly said "thank you" for helping us with Bridgett's case. We sent the reduced payment to Medicaid and called Bridgett's mom to tell her approximately how much money was going to be left for Bridgett and she broke down over the telephone. Given only $25k of insurance and a $850k medical bill from the hospital she didn't think Bridgett would ever see a penny. She had never used an attorney before this and always heard all the negative lawyer jokes so she expected to get no real help from lawyers. She had previously thanked us for helping Bridgett but of course had not seen a positive result so I think she was still somewhat skeptical about the outcome. When I gave her the news, she was blown away by the fact that Bridgett was going to receive not only "some" money but a substantial portion of the $25k AND by the fact that not one but two law firms gave their time and effort to help her daughter! She is definitely grateful and a "fan" of lawyers. I thought it was a pretty good "payoff" for our efforts in this case and I want to share it with you. Thanks again for all you have done and are doing for Bridgett.
